Paradigm by Ceri A. Lowe
I received a copy of Paradigm from Netgalley in exchange for a honest review.
Honestly I am not sure how I feel about Paradigm, I didn’t outright hate this book but I found it too confusing to enjoy.
I want to start this review by saying I do not want to bash this book at all because the story itself is unique and the world has a lot of promise but for me this book just didn’t hit the mark.
The writing style itself in Paradigm was pleasant and the author did a great job at building Alice’s Character and story arc, I loved how her character developed over the course of the book and I connected with her in a way I just couldn’t connect with Carter.
It is rare in a Dystopian book to read about the society and its origin and with Paradigms dual time line we get to see this and this for me was one of the stand outs of this book and something I really enjoyed.
The world building in this book started off so strong however as the story progressed I got more and more confused and felt like few things made sense.
But like I said I do not want to bash this book as the author has a lot of promise and I think this is a book you have to give a shot yourself rather then listen to other peoples opinions.
